This piece was inspired by love I think I captured it well.Him holding the heart out represents him giving his heart to someone.Overall I think the figure represents this idea well.
The glazes I used for him was a dark green glaze for his body.The heart was ares glaze.I believe the glaze compliment each other very well.
The proportion of the figure was a lot better then I thought. the torso complimented the legs and the head was well sized.The piece has very good symmetry.The contrast in colors makes the heart pop out.
Overall I think this was my best piece.I enjoyed making it.If I had to redo this piece I would try taking my time on it and cleaning it up but also not rush the glazes.
